FPAI announce nominees across different categories

Football Players Association of India (FPAI)

The Football Players Association of India (FPAI) would be announcing the winners across all categories of their annual Indian Football Awards on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Calcutta Sports Journalists Club in Kolkata at 4.30pm.

But before the announcement of the winners, the FPAI have announced the top five named by their peers across the three different categories – Indian Player of the Year, Foreign Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.

The Nominees

Indian Player of the Year Award

1. Balwant Singh (Mumbai City FC)
2. Michael Soosairaj (Chennai City FC)
3. Adil Khan (FC Pune City)
4. Sunil Chhetri (Bengaluru FC)
5. Jeje Lalpekhlua (Chennaiyin FC)

Foreign Player of the Year Award

1. Ferran Corominas (FC Goa)
2. Nicolas Ladislao Fedor Flores – Miku (Bengaluru FC)
3. Chencho Gyeltshen (Minerva Punjab FC)
4. Marcelinho (FC Pune City)
5. Manuel Lanzarote (FC Goa)

Young Player of the Year Award

1. Anirudh Thapa (Chennaiyin FC)
2. Jerry Lalrinzuala (Chennaiyin FC)
3. Udanta Singh (Bengaluru FC)
4. Jerry Mawihmingthanga (Jamshedpur FC)
5. Lallianzuala Chhangte (Delhi Dynamos)
