India defender Dhanachandra Singh signs for Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC is delighted to announce the signing of Indian international defender Dhanachandra Singh on a one-year deal. Born in Manipur, Dhanachandra has won the Hero Indian Super League twice with Chennayin FC.

Dhanachandra is primarily left footed and can play both as a left back and a centre back and has represented reputed clubs such as Churchill Brothers, Mumbai FC, Mohun Bagan and Prayag United. Dhana has also represented the national team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

On signing with Jamshedpur FC, Dhanachandra added, “First of all, I would like to thank the club management of Jamshedpur FC for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this family. I am eagerly looking forward to the season with better performance and also being injury free. I would like to perform and prove myself at the top level. I can’t wait to join the squad and help the club to lift their first trophy.”
