Kerala Blasters FC sign striker Seiminlen Doungel

Kerala Blasters FC has signed striker Seiminlen Doungel. The 24-year old footballer from Saikul, Manipur is famously known as Len and he played for NorthEast United during the last Indian Super League (ISL) season and scored a hat trick in ISL.

Doungel started his career in the youth team of JCT before joining East Bengal for the I-League in 2011. In 2012 he made his international cup debut for East Bengal in the AFC Cup against Kazma. During 2012-2013 he played for Palian Arrows. In 2014 Doungel played for Shillong Lajong in the i-League and moved onto North East United to play for the ISL season in 2014. He also played for Delhi Dynamos for the 2015 ISL season.

Doungel returned to NorthEast United in 2017 for the 4th ISL season. He scored a hat-trick against Chennaiyin FC.
