Asian Games 2018: IOA’s decision is a slap to the whole football family

The Indian Olympic Association’s (IOA) decision to drop the Indian football teams from the Asian Games is a massive disappointment. It obviously reveals the lack of vision and understanding for the sport within the IOA, which is supposed to support and promote sports in the country.

Indian football is on the upward path and denying the Indian football team to participate in the Asian Games is major slap to the whole football family! The IOA should urgently bethink of their position in the development of sports in the country. Indian football should not suffer fro some weird ‘criteria’.

IOA, please listen to the one billion heartbeats hoping for #IndianFootballForAsiad!
