Borussia Dortmund have signed Morocco international Achraf Hakimi on loan from Spanish giants Real Madrid CF.
The 19-year-old defender signed a loan deal which keep him in Dortmund until the end of the 2019/2020 season. Hakimi is expected to join the BVB squad during their USA tour between July 18 and 26.
“Achraf Hakimi is a young, very dynamic full-back who has played at the highest level at Real Madrid and in the Moroccan national team,” stated Michael Zorc, Sporting Director, Borussia Dortmund in an offical announcement on the club website.
Hakimi made 16 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions last season, while he featured in all 2018 FIFA World Cup matches for the Moroccan national team.
