Reigning champions Chhinga Veng FC make no mistakes in LG Independence Cup

After failing to score for 120 minutes against their opponents in the recently played LG Super Cup, Chhinga Veng FC made sure they did not slip up against Kanan FC with a 2-0 victory.

A first half goal from Vanlalzuidika and a second half strike from debutant Lalromawia was enough to seal all three points for Chhinga Veng FC in an even match up.

A team from the ADFA’s First Division, Kanan FC held their own against the reigning MPL champions for the majority of the match but their valiant effort was ultimately undone by the difference in individual quality.

Kanan FC will face Mizoram Police FC in their next game on Wednesday afternoon while Chhinga Veng FC will clash with the same opposition on Friday evening.
