Women’s DFB-Pokal Round 2 to take place on September 8 & 9

The German Women’s Cup (DFB-Pokal der Frauen) will continue with Round 2 fixtures scheduled to take place on September 8 and 9.

The twelve teams who were part of the 2017/18 Women’s Bundesliga (Allianz Frauen-Bundesliga) season, as well as newly promoted clubs Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach were handed a first-round bye and they will now join the 16 Round 1 winners.

Defending Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal champions VfL Wolfsburg will travel to Hannover 96, while last season’s losing finalist FC Bayern Munich take on FF USV Jena.

The final will be held at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne on May 1, 2019.
