André Schürrle scores the winner in Fulham’s 1-0 win against ATK

Indian Super League (ISL) franchise ATK went down to Premier League side Fulham FC in a friendly match played at the Pinatar Arena Football Centre in Murcia, Spain on Saturday.

A second half strike from 2014 FIFA World Cup winner André Schürrle secured Slaviša Jokanović’s side a 1-0 win against the two-time Indian Super League champions.

The Premiership side started with nine first team players and the match proved to be a good test for both sides. ATK and former India goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya kept the clean sheet for a long time, but he conceded a goal in the 72nd minute.

Harvey Elliott had a left-footed shot from the outside of the box parried behind for a corner before a fine strike from Germany international André Schürrle broke the deadlook.
