Marcello Lippi, the head coach of the Chinese national football team, has named his 23 player squad for the upcoming international friendly against India on October 13 at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
2006 FIFA World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi has called-up 17 out of his 23 players from the top four Chinese Super League clubs, which shows how serious the 76th ranked China are taking 97th ranked India.
Besides India, China are also set to play Syria in a second international friendly on October 16 in Nanjing.
