Three Bundesliga clubs sign Memorandum of Understanding in China

Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Schalke 04 have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jiangsu province. The MoU is part of a cooperation between the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Chinese province.

The MoU intends to underline the commitment to support and develop football in China. Representatives of the respective sports councils and State Football Associations would visit Germany and vice versa as part of the MoU. Furthermore there will be football tournaments between the two regions, besided various grassroots coaching and education programmes.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, Minister for Economic Affairs, Government of North Rhine-Westphalia, a representative of the Jiangsu province as well as representatives of the three Bundesliga clubs.
