In a first for Indian football, the Association of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC) conducted the first ever AIFF ‘D’ License Coaching Course for young aspirants outside of the nation in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates from November 23 to December 1, 2018. The course which was held in a kindergarten school, was conducted by Dinesh Nair.

24 participants ranging from coaches to former players to physical education teachers were a part of the course.

The course recognised and approved by the UAE FA aimed in tutoring coaches in the technicalities of the game, enabling them to become better coaches through the foundation laid.

The closing ceremony of the course was attended by UAE Football Association’s head Abdullah Hassan, who educated the participants about future pathways.
