AS Monaco fire club legend & head coach Thierry Henry

Struggling Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have removed head coach Thierry Henry from his position just three months after having taken charge of the team.

The 41-year-old France and Arsenal FC legend had signed a contract with ASM until June 2021, but he lasted only three months at a team which is 19th in the league and in danger of relegation to Ligue 2, while having been active in the winter transfer window, the fortunes of the team had not changed.

AS Monaco in an official press release from the club said:

AS Monaco announces that it has decided to suspend first-team coach Thierry Henry.

Franck Passi will train the professional group this Friday.
