Lalrindika Ralte extends contract with East Bengal

East Bengal FC today announced that the club has renewed its contract for two seasons with captain and midfield general Lalrindika Ralte.

26 year old Lunglei-born Lalrindika Ralte, popularly known to the supporters as Dika or Didika, started his career in his native Mizoram before playing for the India youth teams.

Dika made his professional debut for Churchill Brothers SC before going on to play for Pailan Arrows, East Bengal Club, Mumbai City FC (on loan), ATK (on loan), before signing for NorthEast United FC.

In summer 2018, Lalrindika Ralte returned to East Bengal and had a strong season for the red-and-gold which he went on to captain.

Dika has expressed his happiness in continuing to be a pillar of strength and inspiration for the team. He is also delighted to be continuing under the able coaching and guidance of Coach Alejandro and regards the supporters as the best in the country. Dika looks forward to having a stellar season ahead!
