Mizoram’s Kolasib District Football Association stands by injured player

The Kolasib District Football Association (KDFA) donated every penny of the gate entry received from the final of its Second Division Tournament today to one of its players, Henry Zohmingliana.

Playing for Khuangpuilam GSA, Henry had suffered a nasty injury while playing the Second Division Tournament. The KDFA donated Rs. 4,640 that came from gate entry in the final for his treatment. They had already previously pledged Rs. 2,000 for his injuries prior to the final.

Saidan Branch KTP, a Christian Youth Fellowship branch which had taken up duties as security for the tournament also donated a further Rs. 4,640 from their own funds for Henry.

Henry Zohmingliana suffered a dreadful double fracture on his leg while playing against Zanlawn GSA in the KDFA Second Division Tournament.
