WIR #IMTEAM (Episode 1): Team Germany – Clown, nerd and FIFA freaks

The FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 will kick off on June 7 as hosts France take on Korea Republic in the opening match at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Two-time champions Germany are one of the teams with ambitions to win this years FIFA Women’s World Cup edition. Head coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg is banking on a young squad with experienced players such as Alexandra Popp, Lena Goeßling, Svenja Huth and Dzsenifer Marozsán spearheading the campaign.

The German FA (DFB Deutscher Fußball-Bund) has launched a new YouTube series which will give an idea of the preparations of the German Women’s national team and present exclusive behind the scenes reports during the finals this summer.

The first episode of the WIR #IMTEAM series is entitled “Clown, nerd and FIFA freaks”.
