Germany arrive in France for FIFA Women’s World Cup

The German Women’s national team has arrived in France on Monday for the forthcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.

The players and officials were given a official send off at the DFB (German FA) headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, before they boarded their charter flight to Rennes. The flight was delayed by an hour due to a storm.

Germany kick off their World Cup campaign against China in a Group B match on Saturday. The squad will then travel to Valenciennes for their second game against Spain (June 12), before they face South Africa in Montpellier on June 17.
