India ranked 101st in FIFA World Ranking, Belgium stay No. 1

Earlier in the day, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in the June rankings, India stayed as 101st position behind Palestine, but ahead of Haiti; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.

India have 1219 points, the same as last month and they stay in 18th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India lost to Curacao and beat Thailand in the King’s Cup, while they in July will host the Intercontinental Cup.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (151th), Nepal (165th), Bangladesh (183rd), Bhutan (186th), Sri Lanka (201st) and Pakistan (205th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There was one change across the top 5. Belgium (1,746 points) are No. 1, ahead of FIFA World Cup winners France (1,718 pts), Brazil (1,681 points) and England (1,652 pts), while Portugal (1,631 pts) moved up two spots to complete the top five.
