Double match day sees two draw in FAO League

The FAO organised Odisha League on Saturday had a double match in which Sports Hostel and East Coast Railway played out a 1-1 draw, while Sunrise Club and Radha Raman Club played out a goalless draw both at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

In the first match of the day, Sports Hostel went ahead through a Francis Lakra in the 35th minute but the lead only lasted seven minutes with Sanjit Panna equalising for East Coast Railway.

Saroj Kumar Pradhan of the East Coast Railway was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player of the match.

In the second match between Sunrise Club and Radha Raman Club no goals where scored.

Nirmal Kumar K. of Sunrise Club was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player of the match.

The match was officiated by Pratik Mondal, Sentheil Nathan, Arun Nayak, Jyoti Ranjan Swain, Daitari Karua, Sheikh Hayat and had Sujit Kumar Patro as Match Commissioner.

The FAO League now takes a break for Independence Day and will resume on August 16.
