Goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury signs for NorthEast United FC

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of Indian goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury from rivals Jamshedpur FC. Born in Kolkata, Subhasish has a pedigree of representing top tier clubs in Indian football.

32 year old Kolkata-born Subhasish Roy Chowdhury is a product of the Tata Football Academy.

He started his senior career with East Bengal Club and then went on to play for Mahindra United and Dempo SC in the I-League, before joining Atletico de Kolkata.

The former Indian national team goalkeeper went on loan to East Bengal and thereafter played for Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa, East Bengal, Kerala Blasters and finally Jamshedpur FC last season.

Now Subhasish Roy Chowdhury moves to the NorthEast to join the Highlanders.
