Former Germany star Christoph Metzelder to carry out DFB-Pokal Round 2 draw

The DFB-Pokal (German Cup) Round 2 draw will take place at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund on Sunday, August 18.

The draw will be carried out by former Germany defender Christoph Metzelder, while Germany U-21 MNT head coach Stefan Kuntz would function as the draw supervisor.

A total of 32 teams are still in the hunt for the 2019/20 DFB-Pokal title. The final will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on May 23, 2020.

The Round 2 draw will be broadcasted live on German national television channel ARD with Alexander Bommes hosting the “Sportschau” live show.
