Mohammedan Sporting fire Subrata Bhattacharya, appoint Saheed Sunkanmi Ramon

Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club have announced that veteran coach Subrata Bhattacharya has been relieved of his duties as the coach of the club with immediate effect. Mohammedan Sporting took the decision during an Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, August 20 evening.

The decision was taken after the poor start to the clubs campaign in the Calcutta Football League and the elimination in the Durand Cup group stage.

Former India international Dipendu Biswas has been appointed as the Technical Director while Young Panthers coach Saheed Sunkanmi Ramon will take over as Head Coach.

The new technical team will begin their work tomorrow at Mohammedan Sporting Ground 8am onwards.
