Robin Dutt give thanks to VfL Bochum fans for their support

Robin Dutt has published a statement on his Instagram account yesterday after VfL Bochum decided to release him from his duties as the head coach of the Bundesliga 2 team.

“Dear fans, since the club has informed me this afternoon that they have dismissed me, I would like to thank you for your support in the last one and a half years and the last 48 hours,” the 54-year-old Indian origin coach stated. “You have advocated for me to continue as the head coach.”

“I was all set to do so. I made suggestions for a successful collaboraton during constructive conversations with the executive board and the presidium last weekend. But there was no reaction thereafter until the unexplained dismissal to me this afternoon.”

“Once again, many thanks for your excellent support for the team in the last 18 months. We together have led the club out of a crisis in February 2018. It was an intense and wonderful time.”

“Who knows, maybe we will meet again for a second time in our (football) life. See ya,” Dutt concluded.
