Arminia Bielefeld launch charity to enforest Teutoburg Forest

DSC Arminia Bielefeld has launched a tree planting charity to enforest the local Teutoburg Forest.

The German Bundesliga 2 side has set a target to collect donations for 10,000 trees until early October. The planting would take place this December not too far away from Arminia’s home ground, the SchücoArena.

Donations can be made on the club’s official fan shop until Friday, September 27:

The donation fee for the plantation of one tree has been priced at 1 Euros, while everyone is free to donate more and consequently to secure the plantation of more trees.
