Germany WNT star Turid Knaak to carry out DFB-Pokal Round of 16 draw

Germany Women’s national team midfielder Turid Knaak will carry out the 2019/20 DFB-Pokal (German Cup) Round of 16 draw. The draw will take place at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

The 28-year-old SGS Essen star will be assisted by Germany Men’s national team goalkeeping coach Andreas Köpke. Knaak has stepped in as a replacement for German ski star Felix Neureuther who will miss the draw ceremony due to illness.

The draw moderated by Matthias Opdenhövel will be broadcasted live on German national TV channel ARD (18:00 CET).

The Round of 16 fixtures are scheduled to take place on February 4/5, 2020.

The final will be traditionally hosted at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on May 23, 2020.
