DFB-Pokal draw sets-up interesting Round of 16 matches

The DFB-Pokal (German Cup) Round of 16 draw took place at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund on Sunday evening.

The draw was conducted by Germany WNT international and SGS Essen midfielder Turid Knaak, while Germany MNT goalkeeping coach Andreas Köpke supervised the proceedings.

Defending champions FC Bayern Munich will play host to fellow Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, while four-time cup winners Borussia Dortmund travel to Bremen for another exciting fixture.

The only two remaining 4th Division (Regionalliga) sides 1. FC Saarbrücken and SC Verl will face Karlsruher SC and Union Berlin respectively.

The DFB-Pokal 2019/20 Round of 16 fixtures are scheduled to take place on February 4/5, 2020.
