Closed door Bundesliga 2 derby: Arminia Bielefeld vs VfL Osnabrück

The Bundesliga 2 derby between league leaders DSC Arminia Bielefeld and rivals VfL Osnabrück will be played behind closed doors because of the coronavirus outbreak. The match is scheduled to take place at the SchücoArena in Bielefeld on Friday, March 13 (18:30 CET).

The order was forwarded to the club by the city authorities after a decree issued by the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, Government of North Rhine-Westphalia earlier today.

The decree has banned the conduction of events with an expected attendance of more than 1,000 people. These kind of events would be granted an authorisation only if they are held behind closed doors.

The club will communicate all relevant information on the refunding of tickets very soon, while the ticket sale for future home and away games have been stopped with immediate effect.
