Hannover 96 defender Timo Hübers tested positive for coronavirus

Bundesliga 2 side Hannover 96 have confirmed that Timo Hübers has been tested positive for coronavirus. The club has stated that the 23 year old defender got infected during an event in the city of Hildesheim last Saturday.

Hübers didn’t have any contact with his teammates according to the club, but all members of the squad and staff would be tested for coronavirus. Hübers is currently in a self-isolation at home.

Hannover 96 has announced that all training session would be held behind closed doors and that all media/pr activities have been cancelled.
