AFC congratulates ISL champions ATK and I-League champions Mohun Bagan

The Asian Football Confederation has congratulated Indian clubs ATK FC, FC Goa and Mohun Bagan for their respective title-winning campaigns.

AFC General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John also congratulated the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the successful organisation of the 2019-20 season.

“I wish your winning Clubs every success in the next edition of the India Club Football Season and look forward to welcoming them in the 2021 AFC Club Competitions, should they meet the necessary entry requirements,” said Dato’ Windsor John.

“Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your contribution in the development of club football in Asia.”

ATK FC became the first team in Indian Super League history to win the title thrice after overcoming Chennaiyin FC 3-1 in the final on Saturday.

FC Goa, meanwhile, won the ISL League Winners Shield while Mohun Bagan sealed the I-League crown with four matches to spare.
