Odisha FC part ways with CEO Ashish Shah

Indian Super League franchise Odisha FC and their CEO Ashish Shah have parted ways after the end of the 2019/20 season.

Odisha FC president Rohan Sharma said, “Ashish was the first hire, I made ever. One of the best people I worked with. Spent many days venting to him or laughing with him. We never got the trophy we both wanted together, but we made a lot of good memories along the way. Hopefully our paths will cross again.”

Ashish Shah had joined Delhi Dynamos (former name and location of Odisha FC) in 2017 after his time with Chennaiyin FC.

Ashish Shah said, “I would like to thank the entire Team – Club owners, the Government of Odisha, Colleagues, Players, Coaches and all our External Partners – without whom we couldn’t have succeeded in this complex transition from Delhi to Odisha.”

“The Club has now an excellent base of infrastructure, fans and a sports support ecosystem from which I am sure it will go on to become one of the best run football clubs in India,” Ashish Shah added.
