SGS Essen announce the departure of Germany WNT star Turid Knaak

FLYERALARM Womens’ Bundesliga (FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga) side SGS Essen have announced the departure of Turid Knaak. The 29-year-old winger has decided to leave the club after three years.

Knaak has scored 21 goals for SGS Essen in 76 competitive matches in the Women’s Bundesliga and the DFB Women’s Cup (DFB-Pokal der Frauen), while becoming a regular member of the German women’s national team. She made her debut for the German senior national team in April 2018 against Slovenia in a FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier.

Knaak is yet to announce her new club.
