ATK Mohun Bagan hand Sheikh Sahil contract until 2023

Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have handed youngster Sheikh Sahil a three year contract until summer 2023.

ATK Mohun Bagan in an official tweet wrote, “Sheikh Sahil has signed for the club and will represent ATK Mohun Bagan FC in the ISL for the next three years.”

20 year old Barrackpore (Kolkata) born Sheikh Sahil has played for the Mohun Bagan juniors and caught the eye of the club officials in the 2019 Zee Bangla Football League and earned a trial for the senior side.

There Sheikh Sahil impressed and the last season was his breakthrough at senior level winning the 2019/20 I-League title for the Mariners in playing 16 matches.

Sheikh Sahil said, “It is an honour to be given the opportunity to represent my boyhood club and Kolkata in India’s top football competition. I am very excited to play for ATK Mohun Bagan FC.”
