Mumbai City FC announce the departure of India defender Subhasish Bose

Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have announced the departure of India international defender Subhasish Bose.

24 year old Kolkata-born Subhasish Bose after starting off his football locally, he joined the Peninsula Pune FC Academy in 2012. He had a loan spell with Churchill Brothers before joining Sporting Clube de Goa for the 2016/17 season.

After a successful campaign, Subhasish Bose signed for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC and there continued to improve. In 2017, Subhasish Bose signed for Bengaluru FC from the ISL draft and became a key player in Albert Roca’s side and a season later he moved on to Mumbai City FC.

At the Islanders, Subhasish Bose played 34 matches scoring a lone goal in an away tie at Bengaluru FC over the last two seasons.

It hasn’t been announced yet, but Subhasish Bose is expected to return to Kolkata to join ISL champions ATK Mohun Bagan.
