England, Germany and Spain to represent UEFA at FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2021

England, Germany and Spain without having to play the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship will represent Europe at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2021.

UEFA has been forced to cancel the elite round and the final tournament of the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship in Sweden due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic after consultation with its 55 member associations besides also cancelling all other youth competitions for 2020.

UEFA has decided that the three European nations with the highest coefficient ranking in England, Germany and Spain (in alphabetical order) will qualify for the 2021 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India which is scheduled to be held from February 17 to March 7, 2021.

But given the pandemic situation it is not clear if the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2021 will be played early next year.
