Sudeva Delhi FC announce the signing of former ISL player Kean Lewis

I-League outfit Sudeva Delhi FC have have confirmed the signing of Kean Lewis ahead of the upcoming 2020/21 I-League season. Kean is an Indian professional football player who was born on September 19, 1992 in Thane. The professional left half has been handed a one-year contract at the Delhi based club.

Kean Lewis has put pen to paper on a contract that will see him remain with the club till the end of the upcoming 2020/21 season. Lewis started his footballing career at a very tender age of 14. He was invited for a trial at the Leicester City Football Academy. Two years later, in the year 2008, he joined Mahindra United and from there he moved to train with the Tata Football Academy in the same year.

Moving to the United States of America in 2010, he represented Fairleigh Dickinson Knights during his graduation course. He represented Houston Dynamos’ U-23 side and had a short stint with the Laredo Heat in the Premier Development League. He made his professional debut with Mohun Bagan playing the whole 90 minutes against Aizawl FC which his team won by a 3-1 margin.

Lewis represented Mohun Bagan in the I-League in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 editions. He was loaned to Delhi Dynamos in 2016 and before moving on to FC Pune City.

Kean Lewis was awarded the Man of the Match award in his second game against Bengaluru FC. Having a great abroad exposure from a young age, he fitted perfectly into the system and is looking for a national call up.
