Arminia Bielefeld likely to face FC Bayern behind closed doors

The Bundesliga match between DSC Arminia Bielefeld and FC Bayern Munich is likely to be played behind closed doors. The match was originally scheduled to take place in front of 5,460 fans (20% of seats at the SchücoArena). But authorities have issued a new statutory order due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 infections in the city of Bielefeld.

The club is in talks with the authorities to find out, if at least 300 fans will be allowed to the match based on the general COVID-19 regulations for sporting events in Germany.

Notwithstanding the above, tickets for the Arminia vs FC Bayern match have lost their validity and fans will be provided an opportunity to request a refund.
