India move-up to 104th in latest FIFA World Ranking

The latest Men’s FIFA World Ranking were released by the world football governing body earlier today and in the November rankings, India gained four spots to joint 104th position with Kenya behind Trinidad & Tobago, but ahead of Mozambique; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.

India have 1187 points, the same like in October and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India played no match in the last window and it is unknown when India will next play their 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in March 2021.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (171st), Bangladesh (184th), Bhutan (189th), Pakistan (200th) and Sri Lanka (206th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There were no changes across the top 5. Belgium (1,780 points) stay No. 1, ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,755 pts), 2019 Copa America winners Brazil (1,743 points), England (1,670 pts), and Portugal (1,662 pts) to complete the top five.
