Chennai City FC sign Singaporean striker Iqbal Hussain

Former I-League champions Chennai City FC have signed Singaporean winger and striker Iqbal Hussain ahead of the upcoming 2020/21 I-League.

27 year old Singapore-born Mohamed Iqbal bin Hamid Hussain is being signed by Chennai City FC under the Asian quota rule.

Isbal Hussain in his professional career played for Singaporean sides Gombak United (2012), LionsXII (2013), Courts Young Lions (2013–15), Hougang United (2016-20), and Geylang International FC (2020).

Now Iqbal Hussain makes the move to southern India, where Chennai City FC will hope he can be a positive influence.
