Mohammedan Sporting enter Hero I-League bio-bubble

Mohammedan Sporting Club players and officials have entered the Hero I-League bio-bubble and will be on quarantine for the next seven days.

The team has already started online fitness sessions conducted by newly appointed physical trainer Chiranjit Malakar and overseen by Coach Jose Hevia and Technical Director Sankarlal Chakraborty. The team will resume its training after the quarantine period.

All the players and staff of Mohammedan SC have tested negative in the Covid-19 tests conducted in the past three weeks. The players and officials will also undergo mandatory Covid-19 tests during their stay in the bio-bubble.

“This Hero I-League will be different. All SOPs and protocols established by the AIFF have been complied with. Once the quarantine requirements are met, the team will start practice sessions. We are pleased that the Hero I-League 2020/21 season will be underway in a few weeks despite the challenges posed by the pandemic,” said Sk. Wasim Akram, General Secretary, Mohammedan Sporting Club.
