Dempo Sports Club has completed their third signing of the January Transfer Window with Melroy Fernandes joining the club until the end of the current season.
Having played previously with Salgaocar, Sporting Clube De Goa, Churchill Brothers FC, and ARA FC, the shot-stopper arrives at the club with a huge reputation and personality. Having experience in the Goa Professional League, I-League, and the Santosh Trophy, Melroy will form an integral part of the team as they hope to challenge for silverware this season.
Melroy, having opted to wear the number 1 jersey, will be available to Head Coach, Samir Naik from the start of the current season.
Speaking to the club following his move, Melroy said, ”It’s a pleasure joining such a historical club, I’m grateful for the opportunity and am looking forward to winning trophies with the club.“
