Bengaluru FC confirm three COVID-19 positive cases ahead of AFC Cup qualifiers

As a matter of concern, Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC have announced that they have three COVID-19 positive cases in their camp in Goa ahead of their 2021 AFC Cup Preliminary Stage Two clash next week.

Bengaluru FC did not inform who amongst their staff and players has tested positive.

Bengaluru FC in a tweet said, “Latest COVID-19 tests within the Blues’ camp in Goa have shown three positive cases among players and staff. Bengaluru FC continues to take all the necessary precautions at the highest levels to stay safe, secure and healthy.”

Bengaluru FC will host the winner of the Round One qualifiers between Nepal Army Club and Sri Lanka Police on next Wednesday, March 14 at the Bambolim Athletic Stadium in Goa.
