The German women’s national team secured a convincing 5-2 win against Australia on Saturday. The friendly match was played behind closed doors at the BRITA-Arena in Wiesbaden.
Sjoeke Nüsken (11′), Kathy Hendrich (48′), Jule Brand (62′), Laura Freigang (64′) and Linda Dallmann (91′) scored the goals for the hosts, while the “Matildas” reduced the margin with two goals from Emily Gielnik (82′, 92′).
