DFL postpones three Bundesliga matches involving Hertha BSC

The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has postponed three Bundesliga matches involving Hertha BSC. The Hertha BSC first team players and staff have gone into a quarantine at their respective homes as a result to a regulatory action issued by the public health department.

Two players and two members of the coaching staff including head coach Pál Dárdai had tested positive for COVID-19.

Therefore, the club had requested a postponement of the upcoming three matches against 1. FSV Mainz 05 (April 18), SC Freiburg (April 21) and FC Schalke 04 (April 24).

The DFL has approved the request and new dates for the postponed fixtures will be announced next week.
