Eintracht Frankfurt announce partnership with Forward Madison FC

Eintracht Frankfurt and the USL club Forward Madison FC are entering into a new international partnership that will help develop soccer in the US and increase both clubs’ presence around the globe.

The Flamingos from Wisconsin have a strong connection to its fans and its city – two strong foundations in the club identity, a uniqueness also shared by the Eagles.

The two teams will kick off their new partnership by launching several initiatives across Wisconsin, including clinics for local soccer coaches led by staff at Eintracht Frankfurt as well as statewide youth camps sponsored by both teams. The first initiative together is planned for this Summer, with the first youth camp for boys and girls born between 2007 and 2008. Forward Madison and Eintracht are also developing long-term plans together which could include more involvement with Wisconsin’s youth soccer scene.

“The history and success of Eintracht Frankfurt is tough to match,” Forward Madison COO & Owner Conor Caloia said. “As we explored international partnerships, the vision and values of Eintracht Frankfurt match those of Forward Madison. We look forward to having a positive impact on the game of soccer in Wisconsin and beyond.”

“From a sporting perspective, the partnership with Forward Madison creates a key foundation to closely follow the development of the fast-growing USL and to scout new talent from the US”, affirmed Eintracht’s Head of Sports Projects Americas Armin Kraaz. “Our strong shared connection with the aims and values of the club also enables the joint development of many other exciting projects and events.”
