TRAU FC extend contract of Brazilian defender Helder Lobato Ribeiro

I-League side TRAU (Tiddim Road Athletic Union) FC have announced the contract extension of Brazilian midfielder Helder Lobato Ribeiro for the 2021/22 season.

Birthday boy Helder Lobato Ribeiro, who turns 33 today, was born in the State of Para, played football locally and made his senior debut for São Raimundo EC before joining Brazilian giants São Paulo FC.

Thereafter he moved to Asia to play for Jordanian side Al Wehdat (2015/16), Indonesian side Borneo FC (2017), Kuwaiti side Burgan SC (2017) and Al-Shabab (2018–20).

Last season, Helder Lobato moved to India to join TRAU FC for whom he made 14 appearances and scored one goal in the I-League as a centre-back.
