Mohammedan Sporting and United SC play out entertaining 2-2 draw

Mohammedan Sporting Club and United SC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Calcutta Football League – Premier Division A at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.

Mohammedan Sporting took a 7th minute lead after the United SC goalkeeper saved Jaskaran’s shot before Marcus Joseph scored on the rebound.

But United SC quickly equalised in the 17th minute through a Subrata Murmu goal.

In the 29th minute, the Black Panthers were ahead again, this time a Marcus Joseph cross and a header from Jaskaran went into the goal.

But a minute before the break, United SC again equalised with Prahlad Roy cross from the left was put into the net by Jagannath Orao.

At the break it was 2-2 after an exciting first session and it would stay this way until the end.
