Bengaluru FC to conduct JSW Youth Cup for U13 Academy Teams

Bengaluru FC, on Wednesday, announced the return of the JSW Youth Cup, this time for U13 Academy Teams, set to begin at the JSW Township, in Bellary on April 17th. Teams from RoundGlass Punjab FC, Sudeva Delhi FC and FC Goa will join the Young Blues in the tournament, set to play out in a League-cum-knockout format.

“We’re glad to be able to give U13 Academy teams in the country the opportunity to come to Bellary, train in some of the best facilities available, and also play competitive games. We are looking forward to some exciting matches and to assessing where our boys stand when in competition with the best in the country,” said BFC Head of Youth Development, Sabahudin Mislimi.

The League stage of the tournament will see the Academy sides play each other twice, with teams that finish in the top two places facing each other in a single-legged final. The teams that finish in the bottom places will play a third-place playoff.

Duration of matches at the U13 JSW Youth Cup will be 70 minutes, with an interval of 10 minutes. Matches are scheduled to take place at the JSW Vidyanagar Township Football Ground. Bengaluru FC U13s take on Sudeva Delhi FC in the opening encounter, scheduled to take place on Sunday, 17th April 2022, at 8 am.
