2018 SheBelieves Cup

The 2018 SheBelieves Cup kicked off at the MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH on Thursday with the doubleheader England v France and USA v Germany.

England 4-1 France

England put together an excellent performance in their 4-1 victory against France. Toni Duggan (7′), Jill Scott (28′), Jodie Taylor (39′) and Fran Kirby (47′) scored for the Lionesses, while Gaëtane Thiney (77′) pulled one back for France.

United States 1-0 Germany

SheBelieves Cup hosts USA defeated Germany in the second match of the day. Megan Rapinoe (17′) scored the only goal of the match in front of 14,591 fans.

The SheBelieves Cup continues on Sunday, March 4 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ as the USA takes on France followed by England against Germany).
