A 26-member Tampines Rovers FC team arrived in the city on Sunday night ahead of their AFC Cup 2014 Group Stage Round 4 against home-side Pune FC.

Expressing his pleasure at the facilities provided by Pune FC, Tampines Rovers Coach Salim Moin said, “I’m very happy to be here and Pune FC have provided us with good facilities. The pitch at the stadium is also great.”

Moin further added, “The conditions in Singapore and India are very much similar, but the heat is a little but high over here. I hope that my players can adapt to the conditions.”

The Singapore-side then had a one-hour pre-match practice session at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex under lights on Monday evening.
