FSV Gütersloh and Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG will continue to promote girls’ and women’s football in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region. The company from Versmold has extended its sponsorship of German Women’s 2nd Division side FSV Gütersloh on a long term and will therefore remain the club’s “Gold Partner” beyond the summer.

“The previous cooperation with Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG was very successful for both sides. We would like to thank the company for extending their commitment to FSV Gütersloh in the long term and for continuing to support us as a sponsor. The extension of the sponsorship is a very important sign and a commitment to women’s football in the East Westphalia region. With Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG, another regional partner is commiting themselves to us and women’s football. We are very pleased about this fact,” says Tobias Neumann, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Marketing/Sponsoring, FSV Gütersloh.

“The long-term commitment of Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG to FSV Gütersloh is not only an investment in women’s football, but also in the future of girls and women who demonstrate their talent at FSV at the highest level and continue to nurture their talent on a daily basis. As a resident of the City of Versmold, I am very pleased that a traditional family business from my hometown is making such an important contribution and continues to support the work of our club, which is valued nationwide,” says Chris Punnakkattu Daniel, Strategic Advisor & Head of Media/Communication, FSV Gütersloh.

Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG is a family company founded in 1954 and based in Versmold and part of the Peters Group. In the region of East Westphalia and Lower Saxony, it supplies well-known companies with customized packaging made from corrugated cardboard.
