Nike introduces new Boca Juniors' Home and Away Kits

Boca Juniors

Nike and Boca Juniors unveiled the club’s new kits, which will be worn on pitch at the first home match at the Bombonera as part of the First Division Championship 2014.

Drawing inspiration from the ports that surround the team’s home neighborhood of La Boca, the home and away kits show distinctive seafaring elements.

HOME KIT

The deep blue home jersey features a bold golden stripe that runs across the chest. The round neck jersey has two buttons, each with an engraved anchor and the club’s acronym: C.A.B.J.

On the inside of the jersey at the base of the neck, a pennant tab features an anchor flanked by the club’s founding year, 1905. The anchor commemorates the Swedish ships that arrived at La Boca’s ports at the beginning of the century, which inspired the blue and golden yellow colors of the home kits.

AWAY KIT

The white away jersey features a bold golden stripe, bordered by deep blue piping, which runs across the chest. The rounded collar is deep blue accented by golden yellow. The same pennant design with the year and anchor is on the inside of the jersey at the base of the neck.

The home and away shorts are deep blue with subtle golden yellow details, and the socks for both uniforms are deep blue with diamond-shaped details in golden yellow on the back.

The home and away kits will be available from Aug. 1 in Nike stores and selected shops.

While these new kits feature Nike’s signature design details, it also offers players the very latest in performance innovation, kit technology and environmental sustainability.
